Your ONE thing ☝️

How is it already the end of March, Reader??

We have now technically, officially, made the transition from winter to spring. And I finally feel like I'm starting to emerge from hibernation. 🌷

And just now, this video from Deya drops in my lap all about honing your focus in your business to ONE thing.

It was a reminder I definitely needed.

You should go watch the video, but here's the premise.

Most of us get caught up in doing everything everywhere all at once in our business. We think we need to do more, achieve more, check more off the to-do list to succeed.

This, of course, is a lie.

It can, and should be, way simpler than that.

Whatever your goal is -- getting your first freelance client, making $1000 a month freelancing, or scaling your business to six figures -- you can narrow down all the to-dos to ONE main needle mover.

Then, you prioritize your One Thing. It doesn't have to be the only thing you work on, but it should be the first thing you work on.

15 minutes a day is enough. But make the One Thing a habit and stick to it. Do it as an experiment and see what results you get.

What sticks out to me most about this concept is the mental strain it eliminates once you have your One Thing.

You just know, ok every day when I open my laptop or sit down at my computer, this is the first thing I have to do. And this is the thing that will move me toward my goal. Full stop. Everything else can wait.

If you don't know what your one thing is, Deya outlines a process in the video for asking "big & specific questions" that can lead you to that answer. Seriously, watch the video.

Let me know what your One Thing is when you figure it out. I think I know mine... but I want to do a bit more journaling to clarify it first. More on that in a future newsletter, perhaps. Until then, I hope this was helpful. πŸ˜‡

Less hustle, more intention πŸ’‘,

Amanda
