Hey there Reader, β I don't know about you, but lately I'm feeling like I'm in a state of limbo. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but it's not the most stable feeling in the world. And my brain is the type to be like, "ok, what are we not doing. What do we need to do. What's the next thing." Which, sometimes, is helpful. And sometimes, it's really, really not. Sometimes it's just your brain trying to grasp for control when what you actually need to do is let go. Let the situation unfold for a bit. Let something happen, some opportunity come up, some encounter with a new person make you go, "ah, that's what I was waiting for." Of course, I'm not saying you should wait around forever. And if you look back over the last several months and notice that you've just been completely avoiding going in any particular direction, then maybe it's time to take some action. Just do something and see what happens. Get feedback, move forward. But instead if you're constantly trying to go in six different directions at once, maybe it's time to take a step back. There's this saying in manifestation theory but also in certain circles of psychology and human behavior -- the opposite is the medicine. If you're always grasping, always doing, always iterating the new idea the next tactic the shiny new strategy -- then the opposite is to do nothing. Sit in the discomfort of not knowing the answer right now. Allow life to unfold for a while. Keep in mind where you want to go, but don't try to control it so much. Trust a little more, show up for yourself in your daily habits and routines and whatever helps you feel well on a regular basis, but beyond that, take a step back. See what calls to you rather than chasing a next step that feels forced or like grasping at straws. Does this resonate with where you're at right now Reader? Or are you going full steam ahead on something? Either way, I'd love to hear from you! β Doing cartwheels in space π§βππͺ, Amanda β P.S.
