Hey there Reader, โ I'm back from attending Craft + Commerce last week, a conference for creators and all kinds of online business owners. This was my 2nd C+C, and similar to last year, I left feeling more expanded and inspired about my business than ever before. But something a little different happened to me this year... There's a creeping sense of fear lingering in the back of my mind when I think about what I've learned and the steps I know I need to take to grow Health First Freelancer. ๐ฌ While last year I left the conference feeling nothing but clarity and excitement about the community I wanted to create, this year I feel more intimidated by the prospect of growing my online presence, being more visible, and attracting more of the right people for HFF. (You mean to find more amazing community members, I have to show up more on the internet?? Little old me? ๐ Imagine my shock and surprise.) It's interesting, because as I've mentioned before, I've done a lot of therapy over the last year, and I thought I was totally ready for this next level of life and business. And now there's all this fear coming up -- what's up with that? ๐ค Here's how I see it, Reader. It's one thing to have a pie-in-the-sky dream of your life and what you want your new everyday to look like. It's another being faced with the actual steps to get there and the person you'll have to become to make it happen. Attending the conference, speaking with so many amazing creators and business owners, and really seeing how I'll have to evolve to take my own business to the next level brings a whole new level of clarity around my next steps. And knowing my entire life and business can and will change on the other side of those steps... well, that's kinda scary. But also exciting. Expansive. Liberating. ๐ ๐คฉ Maybe you feel the same way about transitioning from a "regular job" to becoming a freelancer. It's a big leap to start working for yourself! There's probably a lot of fear around what it would actually take for you to do it. But when you make that leap, and commit to a business and lifestyle that puts your health first, life starts to get really really good. ๐ I'm here to tell you because I've lived that journey. I'm holding that vision for you. Just like the amazing people at C+C showed me what my next-level business looks like. I guess we're both just going to have to be brave, right? โIf you want to jump inside the Health First Freelancer community, the doors are open. And in fact, to celebrate this turning point in my business (and yours ๐) I've temporarily dropped the HFF monthly membership back to the Founding Member price of $39/mo. I'll leave the Founding Member plan up through the end of June, so you have a couple weeks to make a decision. But seriously, with the resources and events I'm dreaming up for the rest of the year, there's no better time to join. ๐ Resources such as:
Bet on yourself, Reader. Let's do this together. โ
โ โ Feeling the fear and doing it anyway, Amanda โ P.S. TL;DR? Change is scary, but not changing is scarier. Join Health First Freelancer now at just $39/mo.
