Hey there Reader, I recently rejoined Duolingo (a language-learning app) to work on my Korean skills. (Why Korean? It's a long story, maybe if you reply I'll tell it to you. 😉) It's been a solid 15 years or so since I've used the app, and they've totally changed it since I used it consistently in high school and college. Duolingo used to look more like vocabulary flashcards and writing prompts, exercises that mimicked a school-like education format. But now it's more like a game. 🎮 You complete challenges to earn "gems," complete lessons to keep your daily streak going, and you can play with friends and encourage each other to keep learning. It's wayyyyy more fun than I ever remember it being before. 🤩 Which makes me want to keep learning and keep improving my skills. 💪 So here's my question: what if you could apply this same "fun principle" to your health and business goals? What would it look like if becoming a Health First Freelancer was fun, instead of a daunting chore or a distant pie in the sky? For example, what if exercise was fun? Would you go for a walk around the park after lunch? Would you dance around in your living room? Would you play a casual tennis game with a friend? 🎾 What if building your business was fun? Would you work on your website or your LinkedIn profile at a local cafe? Would you jump on a call with a friend and brainstorm niche ideas? Would you create a 30-day challenge to work on your business for 30 minutes every morning? (With a reward at the end of course 🥳) What if your health was fun? Would you see how many colors you can put on your plate? (Eat the rainbow! 🌈) Would you add a new supplement and treat the results like an experiment? Would you share your goals with a friend and ask them to check in with you weekly on your progress? No matter what your goals are or the vision you're trying to get to, making it fun can change the game -- and get you there much faster than slogging through a checklist. I think this question is worth a journalling session, and I'd love to hear your version of this "fun principle" for your goals. Hit reply and let me know one way you can make your goals less like work and more like play! 🤗 All aboard the fun train 🚂, Amanda
