Is it lack of motivation or... ?

Hey Reader,

I feel like I've been slumped against the wall of low motivation lately. Can you relate?

It looks and feels like this 👇

I have big plans, for my business, for my life -- and I simply can't be bothered with any of them. đŸĢ

On the one hand, as I talked about in my last email, Mercury Rx strikes again. It's showing no signs of letting up anytime soon.

On the other hand, I know now from months of therapy and years of self-help education that low motivation is usually fear in disguise.

When you're thinking and planning life-changing moves, whether it's in your business, your health, your environment -- low motivation swoops in to "save you" from doing something that might change everything.

Even if that's good change! Even if that's the change you've been wanting your whole life!

Your nervous system takes one look and says nope, that's too new and different, we'll stay right here, thank you. đŸ™‚â€â†”ī¸âœŒī¸

And then you feel like Rachel up there, slumping to the floor instead of taking tiny action steps toward your goal.

That's why tools like EFT, guided meditation, and journaling are so important.

Even a good walk in nature (no headphones allowed) can help you overcome some of this resistance.

Here's a quick exercise: assume your low motivation is fear in disguise. What might you be afraid of? Journal it out, talk it out to yourself or a friend, tap through it. 👇

Once you identify the fear, you can continue to use these tools to work through it -- and get back to those tiny action steps from a place of safety in your nervous system. 🙏

I hope this helps, shoot me a reply if you have questions~

Taking my own advice,

Amanda
