For a long time, I walked around completely oblivious to my health. Now I can see that most of that time I spent in a fog, deeply disconnected from my body and its signals.

Over the last five years I've been able to develop a much closer relationship with my body and how I feel, such that I'm able to notice patterns.

For example, I've been feeling off for the last week. One day of low motivation and brain fog? I can chalk it up to being an off day. But after three days of that plus a lot more fatigue than I'm used to these days, I know something bigger is going on.

Unfortunately, this awareness is hard-won after years of figuring out my specific health triggers, but I was able to take myself through a process of elimination to get to a root cause.

The type of dragging fatigue and low mood I've been experiencing I really only associate with two root causes: Lyme or mold.

I've been fairly stable with Lyme lately, so that leaves mold. I realized it's likely coming from my window air conditioning units, which I've been running more recently now that we're in the full swing of summer.

My solution thus far has been to spray the crap out of them with a combination of hypochlorous acid and EC3 mold spray, so hopefully that works. They're literally built into the wall, so there's no taking them apart to clean them. ๐Ÿ™ƒ (Who decided that? Not me.)

Internally, I'm taking extra binders like activated charcoal and diatomaceous earth, plus plenty of phospholipids and healthy fats to support my brain.

This situation isn't ideal, but it too shall pass.
